If you are trying to decide whether the Garmin Nuvi 65 or Garmin Nuvi 66 is the right GPS device for you, but are having a difficult time determining the difference between these two devices you aren’t alone. The simple fact is that the Garmin 65 and 66 are basically the same device, with the only difference between the two being that while the Garmin 65LM and LMT comes pre-loaded with city maps for various cities throughout the lower 49 states, the Garmin 66LM and Lmt comes pre-loaded with navigational maps of both the United States and Canada.

For the addition of just a few dollars more, having access to Canadian maps included with the Garmin 66 as well as those in the U.S. makes good sense. However, if you never plan on visiting Canada, then the Garmin 65 will suit your needs perfectly.
